The Art Void

I am, as many people are, a fan of sweaters. In Iceland they are quite fond of sweaters as well and the word for sweater is peysa. Painting all the little stitches reminded me of my time there, although the painting is a culmination of things seen in other works of mine. The hands, the stomach, the scissors, the hand painted patterns, and the ocean. All the while hollowed out and meandering through life. Lost but not missing in any way, shape, or form. A feeling that is always there and will be.
